The new EU rules already apply.
Your shop may be breaking them.
In about a minute I go through your shop's public pages for free and show what is missing under EU rules — with a snippet of your page and a link to the rule behind every finding. Fines reach 4% of turnover.
- ✓trader identification
- ✗ODR link — dead since 2025
- ✓contact e-mail
- ✗withdrawal button — missing
- ✓accessibility statement
What I check
- ✓link to the shut-down ODR platform (dead since 20 July 2025)
- ✓withdrawal button — mandatory since 19 June 2026
- ✓accessibility statement and machine-detectable defects (EAA)
- ✓trader identification and a working contact e-mail
- ✓manufacturer details on the product page (GPSR)
- ✓lowest price in the last 30 days on discounts (Omnibus)
- ✓tracking scripts and cookies set before consent
I never say "you are compliant" — nobody can judge that from the outside. I only say what I could not find on your pages, and every finding comes with a snippet of the page and a link to the rule. Anything I failed to fetch is listed separately.

What changed in the rules
- 19 June 2026
- The mandatory withdrawal button applies (Directive 2023/2673). Neither Shopify nor WooCommerce adds it for you.
- 20 July 2025
- The European Commission shut the ODR platform down. The link to it still sits in the terms of thousands of shops and leads nowhere.
- 28 June 2025
- The European Accessibility Act is enforceable, including the accessibility statement. Microenterprises are exempt.
- 13 December 2024
- GPSR: manufacturer and EU responsible-person details must appear with the offer.
- since 2022
- Omnibus: discounts must show the lowest price of the previous 30 days. Fines reach 4% of turnover.
I check the site from the outside, the way a customer would arrive. I only report findings I can back with a snippet of your page; wherever I could not see, I say so separately.
